Data we collect when you visit our website

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
If you choose to pay for a service or product using the secure credit card payment facility available at this site you will be asked to provide your credit card details, your name, a shipping address and your email address. These details are required so that we can ship your order and a tax invoice / receipt.
The security of your personal information is important to us.
Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Science Alive or any outside party.
We use Secure Pay to process our credit card purchases, a company owned by Australia Post which in turn is a statutory body of the Australian Government.
SecurePay payments are fully automated with an immediate response
SecurePay encrypts all transaction details before sending them across the internet, so the details of the message cannot be seen by anyone except SecurePay’s payment server.
SecurePay uses a 128-bit digital server certificate provided by VeriSign™. This level of encryption is currently considered realistically unbreakable.
SecurePay at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Science Alive.
We take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information which we hold about you. Personal information may be stored both electronically on our computer system, and in hard-copy form. Firewalls, 2048 Bit v3 SSL encryption, passwords, anti-virus software and email filters act to protect all our electronic information.
We do not store credit card information, we securely submit credit card information to our bank for processing.
WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
Under applicable data protection laws and regulations, you have the following rights:
- Of access to, rectification of, and/or erasure of your personal data.
- To restrict or object to its processing.
- To tell us that you do not wish to receive marketing information;
